Mission Statement
The mission of LMSA at USC is to empower and unify the KSOM student body through service, mentorship, and education to advocate for the optimal health of the local Hispanic community.
About Us
The Latino Medical Student Association is an organization dedicated to improving the health care delivery system to the Chicanx/Latinx communities. LMSA’s top priority is to retain all Chicanx/Latinx medical students at the Keck School of Medicine.
By offering peer support and mentors, LMSA strives to enhance students' academic and cultural potentials and alleviate any barriers that may stand in the way of making a smooth transition into and through medical school.
